Bioethics in Movies and Books

The realm of movies and books provides a rich trove of ethical dilemmas for consideration. Such “cases” are imbued with character studies that  provide an engaging opportunity for viewing, reflection and discussion. ABN community members will add discussions about books and films from time to time, but, as you will see below, we already have an ongoing film resource for you to link to in Arizona.                                                                  

 

BIOETHICS AND FILM at ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY   This web site is a  steadily expanding resource @ http://bioethicsandfilm.asu.edu.   It is managed by  Dr. Jason Robert, Director of the Bioethics, Policy and Law Program at ASU and the Franca Oreffice Dean’s Distinguished Professor in the Life Sciences and Lincoln Associate Professor of Ethics in Biotechnology and Medicine based in the Center for Biology and Society, School of Life Sciences. The web site is supported by the Lincoln Center for Applied Ethics, the Bioethics, Policy, and Law Program, and the Center for Biology and Society.
